Spiritual Journey Through Tarot and Oracle

July 1, 2019

Deck used: Universal Waite

Overall

Queen of Cups

  • The queen sitting on the throne, looking at the chalice and contemplating. She’s surrounded by water, the source of her energy. The baby is carved on the throne under her, symbolizing she has overcome the childhood.
  • People see you as a leader. You recognize this, and accept the role with grace and humility.*
  • You are the queen of your realm, and you earned every inch of respect. Thankfully, you don’t abuse your position of power. Rather, you earnestly accept your role with an open heart. You skillfully manage resources, and delegate with diplomacy and tact. Loving kindness is your touchstone, and you treat others with respect. Your confidence and maturity allow you to give yourself to others without losing your identity.*

Past

Ace of Wands

  • Beginning of something. Out of thin air?
  • This is the time to take positive action, and go where no man has gone before. Explore new territories. Take initiative. Be fearless. Reach out to obtain your goals. Life is full of unknowns, but they don’t have to hold you back from striving to achieve more.*
  • A potential investor is making you an offer. This is an opportunity to rekindle your financial fires.*

4 of Cups

  • Given an opportunity (also out of thin air). But for some reason not taking it, but instead, looking at the 3 other cups away from me. Feeling jealous?
  • You have several options in front you, and only one is the right choice to make. You know this, but you are blocked by fear, inaction, or doubt. You have grown in your faith and your heart is willing, but challenges leave you with depleted energy. Stubbornness and willfulness keep you from doing the right thing. You have a bright idea, but you don’t have the confidence or experience to implement it.*
  • You recognize teamwork as an essential element in getting your job done, but you don’t want to participate. Question your motives for denying teamwork.*

Present

6 of Wands

  • Victorious.
  • You set your sights on the gold medal, and you achieved your objective. Your success was due in part by a large following of supporters. You gained these admirers by balancing your ego, maintaining integrity, and keeping promises. Plot your course to the next step, and maintain your stride to see your objective to full completion.*

5 of Wands

  • Only the one in blue is working hard, and the other 4 are having fun. Maybe I am feeling a little resentful that I seem to be only one trying to get a gig (or gigs).
  • Your industry is volatile and unpredictable right now. You’re running into closed doors, especially in areas of marketing and sales. Don’t push it. This, too, shall pass.*

Future

5 of Pentacles (Reversed)

  • These people in the picture are really suffering. Not only that it’s cold and snowing outside, one of them is injured. Also, I don’t think these people have shoes, but they are walking in snows. This card is reversed, meaning this is opposite of where I am. Even though I feel resentful and I feel left out, the truth is, I am not. Also, as a future card, it indicates that I will no longer be left out!
  • You are going through a major transition that will galvanize your beliefs and strengthen your spirituality. Where priorities were vague or misaligned in the past, this is now not the case. You are quite clear about what is important, and you are ready to make changes for the better.*
  • Try knocking on a door that was closed to you in the past. Where you were once redundant, a change in industry has now made you valuable.*

10 of Swords (Reversed)

  • Dead tired. On the ground with TEN swords in my back! But this card is also reversed.
  • Life has been hard, but you are experiencing a reversal in fortune. New opportunities for growth have you feeling alive and hopeful for the first time in awhile. You are getting a new lease on life and feel a renewed sense of purpose. These inspired moments come only after you accept your limitations and surrender to the things you can’t change.*
  • After accepting a few defeating facts about finances, you can now see an opportunity for monetary growth.*

Reflection

  • There is an offer (or offers?) on the horizon, and I need to contemplate. Although I seem to be successful in my endeavor, I am resentful because I feel like other people are having all the fun, and I am stagnating. But I need to keep working on it and push forward. Soon, the feeling of “left out” will be in the past, and I will no longer feet dead tired.
